You cannot double down on any cards except hard nine, ten and eleven and you cannot split your cards more than twice in European Blackjack Gold. Something which is in your favour which many versions of Blackjack does not allow is the possibility to add as many cards as you wish when you split Aces. Here you are not allowed to split two ten value cards like other versions of blackjack allow though.
